Faith Statement

While we strive to endeavor to provide the best possible education and continue to bring the best education opportunities into the classroom, we know we can only reach our goals with the help of God. Therefore, we have chosen to include the principles of Christ while planning our educational program for you. It is our desire for your education to promote growth in you academically, socially, physically, and spiritually. This exciting adventure can influence you for the rest of your life. It is our desire to see you embrace your destination in life with God as your Guide.

What We Believe

We believe the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God. We believe the principles of the Bible are for daily living and therefore we accept the beliefs for men that are stated in His Word.

God, the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, is the foundation for our faith. God gave His Son, Jesus Christ, so that we may be forgiven and dwell with Him for all eternity. Just as Jesus is the Cornerstone of our faith, He is also the cornerstone of this educational program.

The family is the example of God’s plan for mankind. Lakewood Christian School is an extension of the family and has set its course to support the Christian foundations of the family through our policies and procedures. We strongly believe that the love and respect taught in the family at home, and supported in the classes and hallways of Lakewood, are the best example of Christ’s love. We also believe it is the best atmosphere for learning, growing emotionally. and spiritually.

Shirley, a talented educator, shared Ron's love for children and his desire to provide them with a strong foundation in faith and learning. Together, they embarked on a remarkable journey, establishing Lakewood Christian School in Crestview, Florida. This small school, born out of their vision and hard work, has grown to become a beacon of hope and knowledge, touching the lives of hundreds of students over the years.

Founded in 1999, Lakewood Christian School has a long and proud history of providing an exceptional education to students of all ages. Over the years, we have adapted and evolved to meet the changing needs of our students and community, while remaining true to our core values.

Our Vice Principals

Our VP's are dedicated educators who are deeply committed to enhancing the vision of Lakewood, and their students' success. Not only are they handling administrative duties, but you will find them in the classroom as well. With years of experience and a passion for teaching, they bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the classroom.
