 FDLRS Child Find Specialists, in coordination with school districts, locate young children who are potentially eligible for services under the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA).

• Contacts to discuss needs and schedule a screening appointment are generally made within three business days.
• Free developmental, speech, language, hearing, and vision screenings are provided for children, ages 3-21, who are NOT currently enrolled in public school.  

FDLRS Child Find provides diagnostic screening, placement coordination, training, and support to parents of young children who have or are at risk of developing disabilities.
