As a teacher, I possess a tremendous power to make a child’s life miserable or joyous. I can be a tool of torture or an instrument of inspiration. I can humiliate or heal. In all situations, it is my response that decides whether a crisis will be escalated or de-escalated and a child humanized or dehumanized.”

I believe that it is imperative that we allow our students to reach their maximum potential without limiting or restricting their abilities and creativity.  I challenge each child to pursue excellence in all that they do academically, socially, and spiritually.  I believe children learn best through play, theater, music, dance, field trips, and any avenue that fosters a positive learning experience.
